| Now the drywall is completely stripped off and the wall is ready for removal. Most of the electrical stuff has been removed. The 2x12s on the floor and ceiling are bottom and top plates for the temporary support walls. On the floor next to the wall, notice the 3 LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) beams that will make up the support beam. The 2x4 studs against the staircase will be the studs of the temporary walls. |
