Fireplace/TV Corner

I started out with a flash back to 8th grade art class and drew a 2-point perspective concept. The drawing is not to scale, but it's good enough for visualization. Since drawing it, we've made some decisions which vary from the drawing.

The hearth will be flush with the floor and will not wrap around to the walls. We're stongly leaning toward tiles - they'll also run up the sides for the fireplace and across the top.

The mantel will protrude from the fireplace wall surface about 2" (5cm). The TV wall sits about 10" (25cm) behind the front of the mantel (8" (20cm) behind the fireplace wall surface).
