| The bay window opening was 10' (3m) but the new window will be 8' (2.4m), so I needed to make the rough opening narrower. The bay window had a substantial header above it, which matches the top of the windows on the front of the house - no modifications required! The new window will be 55" (1.4m) high so I built the support wall accordingly. |
